Pallet's rapid, scalable, and cost-effective shelters are a stepping-stone out of homelessness and into a life of stability. Unlike traditional wooden shelters, Pallet's shelters are made of inorganic materials and are resistant to mold, mildew, rotting, and pests. Each shelter features personal climate control with heat and air conditioning, folding bunk beds, a lockable door, and windows. Pallet is second-chance friendly, hiring and investing in people actively engaged in recovery and reintegration. The majority of employees who build Pallet’s shelters are formerly homeless, addicted, or incarcerated themselves, and have found stability through meaningful employment building shelters.
