Bega Valley, NSW Community Recovery Contribution Program

The program offers up to $2,500 AUD per program to support community-led recovery efforts following the 2019-2020 bushfire season. Successful applicants create initiatives that increase community involvement or build long-term resiliency. Shire officials conduct weekly reviews of applications until the program's funds are exhausted. Past recipients include a preschool gardening and cooking initiative, a community festival, and Twofold Bay cruises for impacted families.
