East Suffolk District Council, GB biodiversity
In Progress
East Suffolk District Council approved a new environmental policy at council-owned cemeteries to encourage biodiversity. The policy requires that older sections of the cemeteries be allowed to grow without grass cutting or pesticides to provide essential spaces for wildlife. The Council is placing signs in cemeteries explaining the new maintenance policy to visitors.
