The fund provides three tiers of funding to local organizations that create new sustainability programs. Qualifying proposals fit within council priorities including decreased water usage, increased biodiversity, and renewable energy. Council officials require applicants to provide their programs to the public with funding plans beyond the initial grant. Five rounds of funding by 2022 will help Horsham District Council approach its carbon-neutrality goal.
Project Succeeded
The council selected five projects in its first funding round including a PPE recycling program and smart radiator valves for a children's' play center.
