Houston, TX Climate Technology Incubator Sustainable Startup

Greentown Houston in the city's Innovation District provides room for up to 50 companies and 300 employees. This space includes 40,000 square feet of prototyping space. An initial cohort of 16 startups includes EV infrastructure company Veloce Energy and manufacturer Applied Bioplastics. City officials worked with partners like CenterPoint Energy to connect startups to the larger business community. The incubator opened within one year of the city approving its first Climate Action Plan.
