New York, NY Induction Stoves Affordable Housing Units

Complete

The city's Housing Authority selected 20 units for a 10-month pilot with WE ACT for Environmental Justice. Half of the units received induction stoves as replacements for gas stoves, while the other half acted as the control group. The Out of Gas, In with Justice project monitored NO2 and CO levels for both sets of apartments. All recipients received $500 at the pilot's conclusion and control group participants were eligible for replacement stoves.
