The City of Copenhagen offered free online courses to residents unemployed from the service industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The courses were developed by the local Hotel and Restaurant School and focused on topics such as diet calculations, food allergies, personal competence, etc. Any unemployed residents that were seeking jobs in cafes, restaurants, or hotels could seek eligibility for a free digital qualification course by chatting with a job consultant.
