New York, NY outdoor dining structure licensing permanent
The New York City Council voted in favor of changing zoning laws to make popular outdoor dining setups permanent. This new ordinance will allow restaurants to keep their previously temporary outdoor dining structures after the COVID-19 pandemic ends. The new outdoor dining licensing process will include a $1,050 fee per each license, a $525 renewal fee, and additional safety measures.
