Adams County, CO and the city of Thornton created Colorado's first regional 911 dispatching hub

Colorado's first regional 911 dispatching hub was created by integrating the computer-aided dispatch systems of the Thornton Emergency Communication Center and Adams County Communications Center. The newly integrated dispatching hub is expected to reduce response times by over two minutes by connecting Adcom 911, Adams County Fire Rescue, Brighton Fire Rescue, North Metro Fire Rescue District, South Adams County Fire Department and the City of Thornton's Fire Department.
