The Alpharetta Police Department is the first in the country to replace paper business cards with new smart police cards. The smart police cards allow officers to provide their contact information directly to residents via their smartphone. The smart police cards allow residents to instantly verify the officer's name, rank, and badge number. Users can even click on a survey to leave positive or negative feedback on their interaction with the officer.
