Atlantic Beach, NC partnered with Duke Energy and Verizon to launch a Smart Outdoor Lighting project
Atlantic Beach partnered with Duke Energy and Verizon to launch a Smart Outdoor Lighting project. Duke Energy installed Verizon's Intelligent Lighting platform at the Town Park which gives the Town the option to customize and schedule light output. The Town can now assign light schedules to specific sections of the park in order to enhance service reliability compared to the previous system which only responded to sunrise and sunset.
