Bellmead, TX upgrades smart water meter infrastructure through partnership with Ameresco
This partnership replaces 3,797 residential water meters with smart meters connected to Bellmead's utility department. Ameresco's solid-state devices automate usage data collection for improved billing and identification of water leaks. Homeowners find in-depth analyses of their daily consumption patterns through a water billing portal. Bellmead and Ameresco anticipate completion of the project by 2022.
