Borås, SE Ukrainian Refugees Social Orientation Skills

Municipal officials set a goal of housing and helping 250 Ukrainian refugees in 2022. New residents learn about Swedish history, society, and services during a 100-hour social orientation course. Borås also conducts a survey to determine the professional experiences and skills of each refugee. The city's relationships with local hospitality, textile, and tech companies are used for expedited placement of refugees based on their skills and interests.
