Bottrop, NW Road Traffic Office prints QR codes on tickets to accept direct online payments
The City of Bottrop's Road Traffic Office is offering a new and convenient payment option to residents. Stationary traffic tickets will now include a printed QR code which can be scanned to access an online direct payment option which accepts PayPal and credit cards. The Road Traffic Office has eliminated cash payments but residents can still use the GiroCode to transfer funds from an online banking application.
