Brampton, ON Grows Off-Grid Shed Urban Agriculture Farming

Complete

City officials established urban agriculture as a goal in its Environmental Master Plan. The Grows Off-Grid Shed uses solar panels, rainwater harvesting, and carbon capture technology for zero-waste farming. The facility from Nature Harmony is built for all seasons, thus providing a reliable source of food even in winter. Brampton distributes fruits and vegetables from the shed to Regeneration Outreach Community for distribution to local families.
