Brighton & Hove City Council, GB attracts pollinators with Living Roof Bus Shelter
Brighton & Hove City Council, GB Living Roof Bus Shelter
Clear Channel UK installed the first Bee Bus Stop in the region at Palmeira Square. Sedum and wildflower planted on the rooftop draw much-needed bees. An absorbent surface collects rainwater to sustain the plants. The Living Roof Bus Shelter is equipped with solar-powered smart lights that only activate when commuters are nearby. Every component of this structure is designed to be recycled or repurposed at the end of its useful life.
