Bristol City Council, GB addresses challenges facing women with Respite Rooms Trial Programme

Bristol City Council, GB Respite Rooms Trial Programme

In Progress

The one-year pilot assists women facing challenges not met by current services. Bristol's Public Health and Housing Options officers will operate a 12-bed center with project partners like St. Mungo's. Women confronting homelessness, domestic abuse, and unsafe living conditions are provided short-term shelter. Each resident receives immediate care while sustainable plans for housing, financial security, and health access are developed.
