Carlsbad and the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce are partnering with local employers on a pipeline for trained workers. Unemployed and underemployed residents start by completing 15 hours of online skills training from the Drucker Institute. Every participant receives a digital credential and at least one interview with an employer upon completion. The program focuses on training for hospitality, manufacturing, and office administration roles that have been difficult to fill.
