Care Academi accepts residents aged 18 and older who hold at least 2 GCSE qualifications. Students study for health and social care qualifications while working for at least the National Living Wage in job placements. Each Care Academi candidate receives 10 free driving lessons that support work throughout the county. This free program results in a social work degree or a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care from a partner college.

Users can filter by category and location online to find what they need and support a local business.

Carmarthenshire County Council launched the "Actif Anywhere" steaming service to provide residents with access to online fitness classes during the COVID-19 pandemic. The classes can be accessed via phone, tablet, or laptop and are delivered by the Council's Actif Sport and Leisure team instructors. Registered members can book classes online including strength and conditioning, cardio and endurance, dance, yoga, cycling, etc.
