Central Bedfordshire Council, GB trials road repair tech

In Progress

Central Bedfordshire Council is conducting a trial of new technology to repair local roads. The process involves heating the existing road surface to 200 degrees Celsius at a depth of 30mm. The road is then flattened by a roller followed by the addition of a hot thin surface. This innovative method reduces waste and saves the Council time and money by recycling existing road surface.
