Two teams support the council's environmental health officials from the pandemic's outset through the wind-down of national Plan B policies. High street ambassadors marked waiting areas for social distancing and provided educational materials at Loughborough shops. Charnwood employed COVID-19 stewards to visit area pubs and eateries on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Patrons and business owners received guidance from stewards on complying with public health orders.

The one-year pilot identifies 300 households who previously used local foodbanks or demonstrated food poverty. Participants pay discounted rates for food, hygiene, and health products supplied by local businesses. Your Store provides a guide of area debt, mental health, and job training services along with volunteer opportunities at John Storer House. Council officials and project partners will test Your Store pop-up events in addition to the Loughborough storefront.
