Coral Springs, FL Employee Behavioral Health Access Program

Complete

The BHAP was first introduced to employees of the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department. Program features like no-copay counseling and peer support helped firefighters deal with the challenges of their profession. An expanded BHAP for all city employees and their families addresses health issues including addiction and PTSD. City officials developed the program to reduce absences and increase staff morale through improved mental health.
