The BizPal service also provides instant access to local resources for business owners including the Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre, the Community Improvement Programs, and the Tourism Development Fund.

Cornwall, ON launched the Cornwall Small Business Emergency COVID-19 Support Loan program
The City of Cornwall launched the Cornwall Small Business Emergency Support Loan program to address the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Qualifying business owners are eligible for an interest-free loan of up to $5,000 to provide emergency relief and improve their operations. Payments are not required until December 31st 2022 and up to $1,000 will be forgivable if $4,000 is fully repaid at that time. The program received $500,000 in funding from the City's Community Improvement Program.

The City of Cornwall partnered with WaytoPark to provide residents with the option to make parking payments with the WaytoPark mobile app. Users must download the app and complete the registration using their plate number and credit card to access the option for mobile parking payments. The app automatically notifies users if their parking location does not require payment due to parking hours, statutory holidays, or a complimentary parking session.

Cornwall, ON launched a pilot project to track the costs of using environmentally-friendly vehicles
The City of Cornwall deployed two environmentally-friendly vehicles, an electric vehicle and a hybrid vehicle, as part of its pilot project. The Clerk's Department is using the electric vehicle for mail delivery between City facilities. The hybrid vehicle is being used by the Social and Housing Services staff to travel between satellite offices. The pilot was designed to track the operating and maintenance costs of using environmentally-friendly vehicles.
