Cheshire East Council, GB partners with Crewe on clean streets engagement and enforcement pilot
The borough and town councils are working as one unit to contact every resident about waste management. Leaflets remind recipients about bin management along with penalties for littering or illegal disposal. Ongoing communications about how cleaner streets lead to safer neighborhoods increase buy-in through civic pride. This collaboration also improves enforcement investigations against perpetrators through shared resources.
