Denbighshire County Council launched a recycling pilot project after monitoring revealed 600 local households had not placed their waste caddies out in weeks. These households were sent a leaflet encouraging them to recycle and explaining the equipment necessary for properly recycling food waste. The Council also sent recycling advisors to resolve any issues these households were facing with food waste management and discuss upcoming waste and recycling collection improvements.
