Dilbeek, VBR is making private parking spaces voluntarily available for home healthcare providers
The City of Dilbeek launched a Zorgparking program which allows residents to designate their private parking spaces as available for home healthcare providers. Home healthcare providers can register for a permit that provides care parking access for up to 45 minutes during home visits. Residents can register their private parking space and place a care parking sticker to create a new parking space for home healthcare providers in their area.

The City of Dilbeek created the "I buy in Dilbeek" gift voucher program to promote local shopping. The Dilbeek gift vouchers are valued between €10 to €50 and can be exchanged at participating local shops and market vendors. The Dilbeek gift vouchers can be purchased online to receive a QR code which can be scanned during purchases or to review the current account balance. A list of the participating local businesses is published on the city's website and the Dilbeek mobile app.

Dilbeek, VBR deployed automatic number plate recognition cameras to prevent cut-through traffic
The City of Dilbeek deployed ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) cameras to increase pedestrian safety by preventing cut-through traffic on residential streets. Any driver registered by the ANPR cameras is automatically fined 58 euros for violating the mobility policy against cut-through traffic. The residents that live on the street can still enter and exit at any time but any residents of surrounding streets would need to apply for a permit to drive on the street during peak hours.
