The Donostia-San Sebastián City Council launched the KafEKOak campaign to recycle coffee waste from gastronomic associations. The goal of the KafEKOak campaign is to create a dynamic circular economy in which all coffee consumption waste will be sent to a recycling plant and transformed into material for recycling bins, tables, flower pots, etc. The KafEKOak campaign encourages the social participation of the city's gastronomic associations and raises environmental awareness among residents.
