Dubbo Regional, NSW pursues smart water meter network to improve conservation
Dubbo Regional, NSW Smart Water Meter Network
Dubbo Regional Council approved the replacement of 20,000 local meters to help meet daily consumption goals. Homes and businesses receive new meters for older installations or clip-on meters for recent installations. Residents pay no additional costs for the meters and a public rebate program reduces costs for new fixtures and accessories. Council leaders expect the project to be completed by 2022.
