County leaders and project partner North installed free public Wi-Fi in central Seaham. Wi-Fi users log into the Connected Seaham system once and automatically connect on subsequent visits. Durham County uses Wi-Fi data to analyze daily foot traffic near shops and attractions. The resulting data inform county efforts to support local businesses and encourage social distancing during COVID-19.
