East Hampshire District Council, GB Grow Up! Farm Project
A three-year plan grows a small community farm into a bustling center for community activity. Grow Up! provides educational opportunities and job training leading to rural apprenticeships. Farm activities attract volunteers and businesses interested in strengthened local food supplies. The district also hopes for community health improvements because of active lifestyles and healthy food. The Grow Up! proposal is funded by £1 million from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
