The pilot provides grants to 300 eligible households in Mablethorpe and Skegness. Households must have E, F, or G Energy Performance Ratings and annual income of less than £30,000 to qualify for grants up to £10,000. Council officials also offer a path for landlords to qualify for £5,000 if they fund at least one-third of proposed upgrades. Green Homes funds are used for energy-saving improvements including insulation, window upgrades, and smart thermometers.

The Rough Sleeping Prevention Team responds to hotline calls from rough sleepers or residents concerned for rough sleepers. Outreach efforts are also conducted to proactively assist those sleeping in public spaces. Team members work with each individual on a plan to find permanent housing and improve their circumstances. The council's Housing First approach takes into account unique health issues that require specific housing types.

Lincolnshire Police selected East Lindsey District Council for a pilot of smart wristband technology. Six hundred residents living with dementia received free wristbands programmed with emergency contact information. Police officers encountering lost pilot participants can scan wristbands with their mobile devices and contact family members. This technology and Dementia Friends training for the county's Safer Together Team raise awareness while protecting resident safety.
