Fayette County partnered with Vitalink to activate wireless internet hotspots along Route 40. The highway passes through nearly 150 miles of rural Pennsylvania that have been ignored by the major internet service providers. By strategically placing hotspots along the highway, the initiative will provide better broadband connectivity for rural residents.
