Fountain Valley, CA plans a 15-year agreement for electronic message billboard to generate revenue
The city of Fountain Valley is planning to deploy an electronic billboard project as a method for generating revenue. The project involves a 15-year lease agreement with Outfront Media to build an electronic message board on a parcel of city-owned land overlooking highway traffic for large audience. The project could earn the city more than $30 million over 30 years in guaranteed revenue including a one-time payment of $750,000.
