The council is working with Essential Energy to convert 3,076 streetlights into LED fixtures. These fixtures will use 50% of the lighting energy, improve visibility, and achieve annual savings of $38,763 AUD. LED streetlights will be engaged in the future for smart traffic management and light monitoring. Goulburn Mulwaree also worked with Leadsun to add 160 solar LED fixtures with smart capabilities to 10 kilometers of park trails.
