High Peak and Staffordshire Moorlands equip participants with road safety and litter-picking gear for up to three months. Pick-Fit volunteers gather litter on their walks with the councils suggesting routes based on littering hotspots. High Peak Borough Council, GB opens campaign for increased electric vehicle use with public chargers

The council approved five dual-vehicle chargers for car parks and public buildings. Each rapid charger can replenish an EV's battery to 80% capacity in as little as 30 minutes.
