Kingston, VIC adds recycled stormwater pipes to their sustainable procurement options

Kingston, VIC Recycled Stormwater Pipes Sustainable

Complete

The council worked with Victoria-based RPM Pipes to install stormwater pipes made from recycled materials. This 60-meter project at The Corso Reserve spared enough plastic to make 29,000 milk bottles. Kingston is the first community in Victoria to use RPM's pipes typically produced for farming and mining clients. Council leaders are pursuing similar projects in Kingston as part of the Circular Advantage initiative for sustainable purchases.
