Knoxville, TN is planning to partner with 24 Acoustics to launch a noise-detecting camera pilot
The city of Knoxville is planning to partner with 24 Acoustics to launch a pilot of noise-detecting cameras. The cameras sit dormant until triggered by loud noise, at which point the cameras record two-directional video and take a photo of the offending vehicle including the license plate. If the pilot proves the cameras are effective at identifying sources of noise the city will expand the program.

The city's 311 Center for Service Innovation created the chatbot in March 2020 as a 24-hour resource for COVID-19 services. The 311 Chatbot also provided information about completing the U.S. Census. City and county staffers collaborated on connections to housing, healthcare, and job services through the bot. Local organization Centro Hispano de East TN shaped the bot's Spanish-language capabilities for equal service in two languages.
