Lakewood, CO turns website support challenges into accessible digital resources with OpenCities

Lakewood, CO OpenCities Accessible Digital Resources

Complete

Lakewood faced a potential lack of support for its website due to its previous provider's CMS changes. The city worked with OpenCities to install a cloud-based platform easily edited by staffers. This new website automatically stays in compliance with the accessibility requirements set by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Lakewood's upgrade included the conversion of PDF documents into code that simplifies user interactions.
