Cox Communications connects smart cameras and sensors in the park to the Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) and fiber lines. Data generated 24 hours a day are sent to the Smart Communities platform monitored by city personnel. The MPN provides real-time notifications of potential safety issues along with usage analysis. City officials will use the one-year pilot to target park patrols, test smart city technologies, and explore MPN's potential.
