City officials approved a 31-kilowatt system for the ATB Centre. This system produces 38,400 kilowatt hours per year to power the recreation facility. The changing rooms at Lethbridge Sports Park use zero-emission energy from a 2 KW system. Lethbridge reports 2,532 KWh of annual output for this smaller project. City council members are pursuing similar projects to meet a 40% public emissions goal by 2040.
