Lismore, NSW incorporates green design and solar energy into council's first EV charging stations
The Clyde Campbell Carpark in Lismore's Central Business District will house two solar-powered chargers. Fast-charging stations serve up to 40 parking spots under a solar canopy modeled after the Richmond birdwing butterfly. Hanging planters underneath the canopy include birdwing butterfly vines that attract the native species. This installation builds on a council-led Community Solar Initiative that previously built two solar farms.
