Lloydminster and ATCO Energy connected wireless sensors to LED lights along College Drive. Each sensor detects motion and dims or brightens the light based on user proximity. Sensors communicate with each other to create constant lighting for passing vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians. ATCO Energy's on-demand lighting system helped Lloydminster save up to 80% on lighting costs.
