VALO will supply smart bus shelters to the borough for free as part of this 10-year agreement. The Smart Croydon shelters provide current traffic information and emergency messages on digital screens with audio capabilities. Transit riders stay connected during their journeys thanks to free public Wi-Fi at each stop. Local officials gather valuable data on air quality, noise, and traffic with built-in sensors. This project is the first of its type in the United Kingdom.

Borough officials and Peddle My Wheels held five markets throughout Croydon in August 2021. Residents cleared garages and basements of unused bikes at each market. Mechanics from Peddle My Wheels repaired bikes prior to sale. The Pop-Up Bike Markets also highlighted the organization's Try Before You Bike program. Sellers received 100% of the purchase price, buyers acquired competitively priced bikes, and the council increased active travel in a cost-effective way.

Public parking spots throughout Croydon use a three-tiered pricing structure starting from January 2021. Electric vehicle owners receive 90% discounts on parking rates as part of the scheme. Tier 2 vehicles producing up to 185 kilograms of carbon dioxide per year receive 25% discounts. The scheme charges full rates for Tier 3 vehicles producing over the 185 kg threshold. Local drivers register their registration numbers to activate low-emissions discounts.
