Longueuil, QC My Street to Play Pilot Free Activities

Twenty-nine streets were selected to participate in the one-year Ma Rue Pour Jouer pilot. Qualified streets have speed limits up to 40 kilometers per hour and daily traffic of 500 vehicles or fewer. Residents in nearby neighborhoods are able to play games or activities that can be easily removed when vehicles are present. Longueuil opted for street signage, implementation guides, and codes of conduct over fully closed streets to balance pedestrian and vehicle needs.
