Norfolk County Council, GB NATALI pilot demonstrates the potential for IoT assistive technology
The Norfolk Assistive Technology Application for Living Independently (NATALI) pilot started with IoT sensor installations in select homes. Low-power sensors gather data on resident movement useful for detecting falls and other health issues. Norfolk County Council advances the pilot by connecting sensors to a centralized platform via existing LoRaWAN. Future iterations of the NATALI system allow for customized sensor designs and placements along with real-time updates for carers.
