Northern Beaches, NSW Infigen Energy Renewable Early Goal

Complete

Northern Beaches will completely power its facilities with wind and solar energy sourced from Infigen farms. This agreement cuts energy costs by $1.9 million over seven years without costly infrastructure investments. Switching to renewable energy for 382 buildings and thousands of streetlights will cut 20,000 tons of emissions per year. An 80% reduction in annual emissions gets the council much closer to its goal of net-zero emissions by 2045.
