Penrith residents can apply for rebates up to 50% of the cost of recyclable diapers, sanitary pads, and other products. Applicants submit online forms with receipts and proofs of residence to receive their rebates. The council funded the six-month program at $20,000 AUD with a $100 AUD rebate cap per household. The Supporting Sustainable Choices Scheme starts families toward eco-friendly practices while reducing landfill waste.
