Pescara, ABR partners with micro-mobility provider Helbiz to deploy MiMoto electric mopeds
The Municipality of Pescara is partnering with the micro-mobility provider Helbiz to deploy MiMoto electric mopeds throughout the city. Users can download the MiMoto mobile app to geolocate, rent and unlock e-mopeds. The rate to rent is €0.26 per minute, €4.90 per hour, or €19.90 for the whole day. Each MiMoto e-moped is approved for two passengers and comes equipped with two helmets, sanitising perfumers, disposable hygienic caps, and a sanitising foam for self-drying helmets.

Pescara, ABR created free "Refurbish Ninja" training courses to promote sustainability
The City of Pescara partnered with the Association Cultural Telematic Metro Olografix to create free "Refurbish Ninja" training courses. The courses teach participants about the recycling of electronic and computer materials, electronics and basic programming, digital storytelling and the conscious use of social networks. The courses were designed for young people under 35 living in marginalized situations.

The Municipality of Pescara reactivated its "shopping vouchers" initiative to help families struggling financially. The vouchers can be used for basic necessities including food, medicine, early childhood products, household items, hygiene products, and pet supplies. The beneficiary households must have at least two members with a total income of less than €1,560 over the past two months. The municipality maintains a published list of affiliated businesses on its website.
