Pflugerville, TX hosted a traveling citizen engagement wall to generate feedback on public park plan
The City of Pflugerville hosted pop-up events in an effort to generate feedback for its Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan. The city launched its public engagement process over the Fourth of July weekend and received over 2,600 responses. In order to gather feedback, the city has created a traveling wall and written on the wall is the phrase “Parks Matter Because” which allows people to finish the sentence with their feedback.

Pflugerville, TX gathers resident recommendations for road upgrades with Project Input Map
The Project Input Map included multiple layers of icons for user feedback. Local residents used color-coded lines for suggested bike lanes, repairs, and road widening projects. Icons for new turn lanes, traffic signals, and safety features were added to intersections. A user saved suggestions over multiple sessions by entering their email. Pflugerville incorporated user feedback into the city's Transportation Master Plan.
