Porirua City Council installed 16 QR codes displayed on distinctive red posts next to the graves of veterans in the Porirua Cemetery. Visitors can scan the QR codes using a smartphone to access more information about the person buried in each gravesite. The QR codes link to the Council cemeteries website and to the Porirua War Stories website which contain comprehensive profiles on each of the veterans.
